As the country is struggling to cope up with the outbreak of the dangerous Coronavirus disease, on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation to talk about the issue. In his latest ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi asked everyone to stay indoors as much as possible to avoid getting infected by coronavirus.

PM Modi also called-out for ‘Janta curfew’ on March 22 between 7 am and 9 pm, urging everyone to stay indoors, barring those in essential services, should get out of the house. He said:
“I request all people in country to get out of house only when it is extremely necessary, try and do all work from home,”
Besides this, PM Modi also asked everyone to applaud at 5pm that day for the selfless work done by the essential service personnel.
Soon, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to his Twitter and shared a special message for his fans. In his Tweet, he urged his fans to follow the instructions announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asked everyone to be alert, attentive and aware of the threat. He wrote:
“Be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by the Covid 19. We, as responsible citizens, need to adhere to the norms put in place for our safety as announced by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModiji. #IndiaFightsCorona”

In his second tweet, Virat Kohli lauded the efforts of all the medical professionals for the efforts they are putting in to fight with the dangerous Coronavirus. He also asked everyone to help the medical professionals by taking care of ourselves and everybody around us. He wrote:
“Also, special mention to all the medical professionals in the country and around the globe for all the efforts being put in to fight the #CoronaVirus. Let’s support them by taking care of ourself and everybody around us by maintaining good personal hygeine.#IndiaFightsCorona“
