Shaheen Shah Afridi praised Virat Kohli, calling him a great player capable of producing exceptional performances. He mentioned that only a player of Kohli’s caliber could play such an innings. Afridi highlighted a moment where Kohli hit a six off one of Haris Rauf’s best deliveries, describing it as unbelievable. Reflecting on Kohli’s unbeaten 82 runs in that match, Afridi admitted that he had never witnessed a better innings in his career.

“Virat Kohli is a Great player. And Great player like Kohli could play such innings. That ball was Haris Rauf’s best ball and he hit Six on straight down the ground was unbelievable. Virat Kohli’s 82* runs innings, I have never seen a better innings than that Kohli’s innings in my career,” Shaheen Afridi said on Star Sports.

Kohli stepped in when India looked down and out, with just 31 runs and four wickets lost after the powerplay. Despite the grim situation, he crafted a remarkable innings, scoring an unbeaten 82 off 53 balls. His composure and skill turned the game around. The moment that still stands out is his straight six off Haris Rauf, a shot that left everyone stunned. Kohli’s innings wasn’t just about runs; it was a masterclass in handling pressure. His ability to deliver when it mattered most made this knock unforgettable and still talked about in cricket circles.
