Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Virender Sehwag lashed out at those who celebrated Pakistan’s victory in India by bursting firecrackers after Pakistan defeated India last night in the ongoing T2o World Cup 2021.

Frustrated by the behavior of some people, Sehwag took to his Twitter and lashed out at some people who celebrated Pakistan’s win. Virender Sehwag’s tweet was pointed towards the behavior of some ‘anti-nationals’ who curiously celebrated Pakistan’s win against India in several parts of the country.

Not just this, Virender Sehwag also called out the hypocrisy of shaming Hindus for bursting firecrackers during Diwali and the pointless ban on Diwali celebrations, as fireworks are used unabated on other kinds of ‘celebrations’. He wrote:

“Firecrackers are banned during Diwali but yesterday in parts of India there were firecrackers to celebrate Pakistan ‘s victory. Achha they must have been celebrating victory of cricket. Toh, what’s the harm in fireworks on Diwali. Hypocrisy kyun ,Saara gyaan tab hi yaad aata hai,”

Here, check out the Tweet:

The much-awaited clash of the t20 World Cup between arch-rivals India and Pakistan ended up on a rather heartbreaking note for the Indian cricket team as Babar Azam’s side thrashed them with a 10-wicket victory in Dubai.

Diwali will be celebrated on November 4 this year and there is a ban on the sale and bursting of firecrackers in many parts of the country. Infact, the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has ordered a ban on the sale and bursting of firecrackers in the national capital until January 1, 2022, to keep a check on air pollution.
