Virender Sehwag Posted A Hilarious Tweet After State Govts Banned Crackers On Diwali

Virender Sehwag Posted A Hilarious Tweet After State Govts Banned Crackers On Diwali: With the festivals of lights, Diwali just around the corner and the situation of Coronavirus pandemic, the Delhi government imposed a blanket ban on firecrackers, including those branded green, between November 7 and 30 in order to fight the increasing pollution and also to slow down the number of Covid-19 infections. Besides Delhi, several other states and Union Territories have banned the firecrackers.

The bold decision of the government has divided the social media into two parts, while one section of it is applauding the government for the bold move, on the other hand, the other section is slamming the authorities for taking the shine out of the ‘festivals of lights’.

Among many, former Indian cricketer and batting legend Virender Sehwag also reacted to the ban of the crackers by the government. However, it seems like that the former Indian cricketer belongs to the second category, who isn’t happy with the decision.

On Sunday, Virender Sehwag took to his Twitter and posted a hilarious message reacting to the entire situation. Virender Sehwag, who is known for his hilarious tweets, was at it again as he shared a meme, taking a shot at the government’s decision. The caption on the picture was a sly dig at the government and read:

“Humein poochna tha Diwali mein diya jala sakte hain na? koi global warming ka problem toh nahi hoga?”

Sehwag shared the picture with his own hilarious caption, writing:

“Himalaya ki baraf na pighal jaaye (which roughly translates to Himalaya’s snow might melt).”

Here, check out the Tweet:

The tweet went viral in no time and has been making rounds on social media attracting mixed responses from the fans. While many are schooling him and trolling him, there are many who are praising the cricketer for talking about the issue.

What can we expect from a person who thinks that tradition is beyond nature ?
I don’t know what other person do, or people of different religion do .
It’s my responsibility not only on diwali but on 365 days.
I’m literate enough to fullfil my duties, if you can’t well it

I am corona positive with my entire family, having breathing problem, worried about rising pollution level. Want to celebrate my biggest festival but don’t know how to celebrate without creating breathing problems for other corona patients.

Hindu samrat 😍💪

@virendersehwag Such a shameful thing to post this. Global warming is real, and to make mockery of such grave issues can be detrimental to the public discourse on it. It’s not about Diwali or Hindu sentiments.

If firecracker are banned it’s for the good of nature
Hindus goddess Aranyani is the goddess of forest and animals
Hindu dharm is solely about duties and we’re protectors of our environment
These are the only little things we can do to protect our nature!!
