Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Virender Sehwag has strongly voiced his support for the Indian keeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha, who shared a screenshot of threatening messages he received from a journalist. Saha revealed the conversation after he was dropped from the Indian Test squad against Sri Lanka.
Wriddhiman Saha questioned the state of journalism as he was upset after a journalist threatened him for ignoring his calls.
“After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone,” Saha posted via his Twitter account on Saturday alongside the screenshot of the conversation.

Meanwhile, several cricketers, experts have come out in support of the Indian cricketer. Among many, former Indian cricketer and batting legend Virender Sehwag also took to his Twitter and came out in support of Saha.
In his tweet, Sehwag shared a hilarious take on the episode as he used Rohit Sharma’s split picture to reckon what Saha should do the next time when the journalist in question tries to reach him out. In the picture, Rohit Sharma can be seen pointing fingers as he sets the field, however, the picture also creates an impression as if he were asking someone to get away from him. Sharing the picture, he wrote:
“What I would have done and what Wriddhi should be doing next time the so-called journalist dares to message him,”
