Talking about the match, Steve Smith’s action was followed by Rishabh Pant’s stunning performance. The Indian keeper-batsman slammed 97 off 118 balls, with the help of 12 fours and 3 sixes.

After Pant’s dismissal, Pujara held the game and ensured the momentum didn’t turn in Australia’s favor. Pujara faced 205 balls for his 77 runs and smashed 12 boundaries. However, he too was dismissed of delivery from Josh Hazlewood.

Later, both the Bravehearts Hanuman Vihari and Cheteshwar Pujara ‘bored’ the Aussies into submission. Both the cricketers denied the Australians even a single wicket for the next 30 overs or so. Ravichandran Ashwin displayed incredible resistance with the bat as he kept the hopes alive of millions of fans. Ashwin and Vihari played an incredible role in earning India a draw, which almost felt like a glorious win.
