The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been receiving criticism from all corners after he failed to deliver the best of his abilities in the just-concluded tour to New Zealand. Virat Kohli, who is known for his thrilling show in all the formats of the game, failed to leave a mark with his batting. The Indian batting star struggled against the moving ball on the pitches of New Zealand.

Virat Kohli amassed a total of 218 runs in the 11 innings (four T20Is, three ODIs and four Tests) against Kane Williamsen led team New Zealand. In fact in the last 21 innings that Virat Kohli played for India, the skipper has failed to reach the three-figure mark and because of the same, the cricketer is getting brutally trolled on various social media platforms by cricket pundits and experts. He is being called out as the reason why the Indian Cricket team is not able to win the series.
Recently in an interview, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag pointed out the reason behind the poor form of Virat Kohli. Talking to Sportstar, Virender Sehwag said that Virat Kohli “doesn’t have hand-eye coordination issues”. He said:
“When you are out of form, nothing works for you. It is not that Virat is not making efforts but luck has deserted him,”
He added:
“Virat certainly doesn’t have hand-eye coordination issues. Your hand-eye issue deteriorates over a period of time. Not overnight. I am sure it is just lack of form. Also, he has got out to good deliveries.”

The end result of the tour was the number one Test side — Indian Cricket team getting a complete white-wash of 0-2 by the hands of New Zealanders. Talking about how the pressure might have gotten to Virat, Virender Sehwag said:
“Here (in New Zealand) the ball has seamed a lot and if you are not getting runs then the challenge multiplies. Of course, you can adapt, playing more on the front foot, by leaving the ball,” said Sehwag.
“For me, it is important to know which ball to leave and you can do that when you are feeling confident. The pressure also may have got to Virat,” he added.
