VVS Laxman’s India’s playing xI: Indian cricket team is all set to begin its campaign in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 with a blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. The anticipation and the excitement among the fans for the blockbuster are increasing with every passing day. Ahead of the titanic clash, several cricketers and experts are coming up with their playing XI for the marquee clash.

The latest one to join the bandwagon is a former Indian cricketer and the latest one to predict India’s playing XI is former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman.

VVS Laxman Revealed His Playing XI For India Against Pakistan

Ahead of the thrilling contest, former Indian cricketer and legendary batsman VVS Laxman decided to give his own predicted playing XI for Kohli’s team and gave the usual names with a few surprises

Speaking on Star Sports, VVS Laxman the Indian test legend revealed his playing XI, where he didn’t include Ishan Kishan in his batting order and also went on to skip bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur. Interestingly, VVS picked all-rounder Hardik Pandya at number 6th position, followed by Ravindra Jadeja. He said:

“They are spoilt for choices. But I will go with Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul to open. No. 3 will be Virat Kohli, No. 4 will be Suryakumar Yadav, No. 5 Rishabh Pant, No. 6 Hardik Pandya, No. 7 will be Ravindra Jadeja, No. 8 will be Bhuvneshwar Kumar, No. 9 will be Bumrah”,

He added:

“No. 10 and No. 11 will be two spinners, Varun Chakaravarthy and Rahul Chahar”, 

VVS Laxman Revealed His Playing XI For India Against Pakistan

Explaining his choices for India’s Playing XI further, VVS Laxman said: “It’s a long tail but I will back the top seven to get the bulk of the runs”

VVS Laxman’s playing XI: KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy and Rahul Chahar.
