India’s pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah etched his name in the history books as he wreaked havoc with the ball. Jasprit Bumrah made a mockery of the England bowling line-up with his sensational bowling spell in the ongoing 1st of the 3 ODI match at The Oval.

Jasprit Bumrah Was On Fire

Rohit Sharma’s decision to bowl first after Team India won the toss was redeemed in a wonderful manner by the Indian pacers. Bumrah and Mohammed Shami joined hands as they started the onslaught against England, who as a result suffered a dramatic collapse by losing five wickets in the first 10 overs of the innings.

Jason Roy, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Liam Livingstone, the four stat England batters were dismissed for a duck. Bumrah was the destroyer-in-chief as he led the bowling attack by picking six wickets as part of the stunning spell, which will go down as one of the best-ever by an Indian bowler in ODI history.

Bumrah struck twice in one over with the wickets of Jason Roy and Joe Root before Mohammad Shami dismissed Ben Stokes with a beauty. Later, Bumrah dismissed Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, David Willey and Brydon Carse.

Bumrah became only the 3rd bowler since 2002 to take 4 wickets in the first 10 overs for India in an ODI match. He returned with the stunning figures of 7.2-3-19-6.
