Wasim Jaffer Hailed Prasidh Krishna’s Superb Bowling Spell vs RCB With A Special Tweet

Wasim Jaffer Wrote A Special Tweet For Prasidh Krishna’s Superb Bowling Spell vs RCB: Prasidh  Krishna’s Rajasthan Royals teammates, and their social media admin, call him ‘Skiddy’ because of the nature of his bowling.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore batters learned this first hand when he hurt them badly with his bowling figures of 3/22 – which included wickets of Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik, and Wanindu Hasaranga – as the lanky speedster used the assistance of extra bounce and the seam movement from the pitch.

Former India opener Wasim Jaffer had a special tweet for Krishna’s exploits with the ball in the Qualifier 2 in Ahmedabad that put the Royals in a commanding position at the halfway stage of the game.

“If you’re a fast bowler playing vs RCB and someone asks what do you want, can’t imagine any other answer than ‘Virat’s wicket at the top and DK’s at the death’. Superb bowling tonight from @prasidh43 (clapping hand emoji),” Wasim Jaffer tweeted.

Here’s Wasim Jaffer’s appreciation tweet for Prasidh Krishna:

In his first over, the second of RCB’s innings, he got the wicket of Virat Kohli. He bowled two dots – both back of length deliveries swinging in. So when the next ball moved away, and on a short length, Kohli promptly went after it looking to work it towards the third man. But, with the pace in the pitch and the extra bounce that Krishna generates because of his height, it took the outside edge of Kohli’s bat and Samson pouched it safely.

Centurion in the previous game, Patidar took Krishna’s challenge head-on, creaming a couple of boundaries; Krishna was unlucky as well when the usually safe catcher Riyan Parag dropped Patidar at backward point.

Prasidh Krishna finished his three overs in the powerplay for 1/14. He came back in the 19th over. With two overs to go, at the score of 146/5, and the best finisher of the tournament, Dinesh Karthik, on strike, RCB must have been hoping for a late flourish.

However, it wasn’t to be today, because of Krishna. On the first ball of the 19th, Karthik was caught at long-on by Parag after toe-ending his slog off Krishna’s length ball well outside the off-stump. Then, Krishna yorked Wanindu Hasaranga handing the Sri Lankan a golden duck.
