Former cricketers Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer are known for their hilarious banter on social media. The duo never misses an opportunity to troll each other on the basis of the performances of their respective national teams. They have become quite famous on Twitter for their take on the game.

In the latest episode of Vaughan getting trolled by Wasim Jaffer, the former England cricketer opted to take a sly dig at the former Indian opener ahead of India’s much-awaited match against England in the rescheduled 5th Test match.

Michael Vaughan Tried To Take A Dig At Wasim Jaffer

It all started after Wasim Jaffer took to his social media and shared a picture of himself from the home of cricket – Lords Cricket Stadium. Sharing the picture, Jaffer wrote: “Sun is shining, the weather is sweet @HomeOfCricket 😊”

The image soon went viral and as expected Michael Vaughan was quick to take notice of the Tweet and come up with a hilarious reply to it. In his reply, Vaughan took a hilarious dig at Jaffer by asking him whether he was there at the ground to mark the anniversary of when he was dismissed by the former England skipper.

For the unversed,  Wasim Jaffer was the first Test wicket of Michael Vaughan. Taking a dig at Jaffer, Wasim wrote:

“Is it the 20th anniversary of my first Test wicket you are here for Wasim ?”

Jaffer Trolled Him Back Hilariously

However, Jaffer, in his trademark style, gave it back to Vaughan. The former Indian opener reminded Vaughan that he was a part of the Indian cricket team that defeated his England team 1-0 in their own den in the 2007 Test series. He said:

“Here for the 15th anniversary of this Michael 😄 #ENGvIND”
