Wasim Jaffer, the former Indian cricketer has become one of the most loved internet darlings because of his witty and funny antics on social media. Lately, the former cricketer has been sharing a series of ‘hidden messages’ for team India during the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. He was at it again.

Wasim Jaffer was at his wittiest best when he was asked to give another hint to India’s stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane for picking playing XI. Lately, Jaffer has created a stir on social media with his tweets, giving subtle hints via coded messages.

Wasim Jaffer responded to a fan who asked for his coded hint for Ajinkya Rahane for the upcoming match. The fan wrote: “Waiting for @WasimJaffer14 coded tweet for @ajinkyarahane88 to pick a playing 11 for last Test match”

Jaffer was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a reply to it. Once again, the tweet was a coded hint for India’s injury issues ahead of the fourth and last Test match against Australia. Well, the tweet was blank with no text.

Later, Jaffer took to his Twitter and cleared the air by telling that this time he has no message for Rahane. He also lauded the performance of team India so far. He also claimed that no matter what happens in Brisbane, the series will go down as a massive success. He wrote:

“No msg this time. The way they have performed so far, they’ve already done what was expected and more. Irrespective of what happens in Brisbane, this series will go down as a massive success in my books”
