Wasim Jaffer Wrote A Special Tweet For Indian Fans After Team India’s Massive Defeat: England cricketers successfully managed to skittle the Indian cricket team with a lot of overs in hand to take a lead of 1-0 up in the series.

On Day 5 of the 1st test match, England cricketers were once again successful in dominating the game from the word go. James Anderson turned out to be the hero of the match for England’s side after he put up a special performance in the morning. Following his heroics, other bowlers also joined hands to seal a memorable win.

Resuming the day with 381 runs adrift of the target, team India suffered a huge blow as they lost their most experienced player Cheteshwar Pujara early in the day. Soon after his dismissal, India lost the wickets of Shubman Gill, Ajinkya Rahane, Washington Sundar in quick successions.

Though the Indian skipper Virat Kohli tried to hold the game, however, the moment he was dismissed, the batting line-up collapsed and India lost the game eventually.

Meanwhile, Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter and urged the fans to not lose hope. In his tweet, Jaffer reminded the fans how India won the series last time they lost the first test match and also how the team won the home series after they lost the first match. He wrote:

“Don’t lose heart Indian fans.
Last time India lost first test of a series, they won the series.
Last time India lost first test of a home series, they won the series”

Earlier in his previous tweet, Wasim Jaffer hailed Root and company for the incredible win. He also claimed that this win will go down as one of the best ever wins of England cricket team. He wrote:

“Credit where credit is due. Not many overseas teams come to India and dominate majority of the test. Many congratulations to @ECB_cricket @root66 and the boys on a famous win. Surely will go down as one of England’s best ever wins. #INDvsENG”
