Wasim Jaffer Took A Hilarious Dig At Kevin Pietersen After NZ Defeated England

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took a hilarious dig at former England skipper Kevin Pietersen after Kane Williamson-led New Zealand cricket team defeated England in the semi-final round of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021.

Riding on the stunning knock by Daryl Mitchell and an explosive cameo by Jimmy Neesham, New Zealand cricket defeated England by 5 wickets and with an over to spare. James Neesham took the match by storm and turned out to be an absolute game-changer. He played a stunning knock of 27 runs off 11 balls.

On the other hand, Daryl Mitchell was the hero of the New Zealand side as he played a match-winning knock of 72* runs off 47 deliveries and helped his team defeat England in the first semi-final of the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, in some other news, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor, took to Twitter and trolled Kevin Pietersen hilariously, for suggesting that no team other than Pakistan and Afghanistan can defeat England in the ongoing T20 WC.

For the unversed, a few days ago, impressed by the performances of the England cricket team, former England skipper Kevin Pietersen took to his Twitter and predicted that no other team can defeat England other than Pakistan or Afghanistan. He also felt that the trophy should be handed over to his side. He wrote:

“Only Pakistan or Afghanistan can beat England in this T20 World Cup. BUT and it’s a BIG BUT, the game would have to be played on a used wicket in Sharjah. Anywhere else, just hand England the trophy like Chelsea should be handed the EPL trophy RIGHT NOW!”

Now as England was knocked out of the semi-final round by the Kiwis, Wasim Jaffer took this as an opportunity to troll KP. In his Tweet, Jaffer shared a picture of Kane Williamson with a hilarious caption, that read:

Haa, hum to yaha bass Burj Khalifa dekhne aaye hai,” that roughly translates to “yes, we’re just here to visit the Burj Khalifa.
