Wasim Jaffer Took A Subtle Dig At England Cricket Team On Twitter

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, who has been ruling the hearts of everyone on social media with his A-game, was at his wittiest best when he replied to Michael Vaughan’s viral tweet on Virat Kohli-led team India’s poor show in the first T20I against England in Ahmedabad.

After India was defeated by England in the 1st t20I, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan, who has been tweeting frequently on this England tour of India took to his social media and took a cheeky dig at India, calling Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians a better T20 team than the senior national side. He wrote:

The @mipaltan are a better T20 team than @BCCI!! #JustSaying #INDvENG”

However, the best reply came from the former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, who came up with an epic reply to Vaughan. In his reply, Vaughan referred to the IPL rule that allows the team to have only four overseas players in the playing XI. He wrote:

Talking about the performance of Indian batsmen, the men in blue slipped to their second-lowest powerplay score as they were reeling at 22 for 3 after losing openers KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli also failed to perform and was dismissed on 0. Though Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer tried to bring the momentum back, however, they were not able to rescue team India.
