Wasim Jaffer Trolled Michael Vaughan ‘Royally’ On Twitter

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer gave it back to former England skipper Michael Vaughan after he made another bitter remark on Twitter against the Indian cricket team.

Vaughan, who has been making a lot of news these days with his remarks for ongoing England’s tour of India, was once again at it. After India thrashed England by 8 runs, Vaughan took to his Twitter and claimed that how the Mumbai Indians made an impact in the fourth T20I in Ahmedabad.

Well, for the unversed, India’s playing XI had four players from the Mumbai Indians’ squad – Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Ishan Kishan. And coincidently, Rohit also had to fill the skipper’s shoes last night after Virat Kohli felt uneasy due to an injury scare.

After the match, Vaughan took to his Twitter and tried to take a dig at the Indian cricket team by writing: “Just a thought … @surya_14kumar Mumbai Indian … @hardikpandya7 Mumbai Indian … @ImRo45 captaincy Mumbai Indian !!!! @mipaltan #JustSaying #INDvENG,” Vaughan tweeted immediately after Roy got out in the 9th over.

This isn’t the first time that Vaughan has made unnecessary remarks on Mumbai Indians making a bigger impact. A few days ago Vaughan had claimed that Mumbai Indians is a better T20 team than the Indian national cricket team.

Interestingly, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor, was quick to notice the tweet and was quick to come up with a reply. And just like the fans, Jaffer seemed frustrated as well.

Though he didn’t take or tag anyone in his reply, he gave it back to Vaughan by saying that the former England skipper is not trolling opponents but his own team by claiming that MI have had an impact against England He wrote:

“When you say your team wasn’t defeated by a national team but by a franchise team, you’re not trolling your opponents, you’re trolling your own team. Night all. #INDvsENG”
