Chris Gayle, the Universal Boss was one of the last pick at the auctions in this season of Indian Premiere League. While every other franchise were way too reluctant to take Gayle in their teams, Kings XI Punjab bought him for the base price of 2 crores.

However, the season ended with Chris Gayle as the second highest scorer of Kings XI Punjab with one century and three half-centuries. He scored 368 runs in 11 matches that he played.
Apart from his destructive batting skills, Chris Gayle is loved for his flamboyant attitude on and off the screens and all that uber-cool swag that makes him different from the others. Recently, the cricketers attended an award function, where Chris Gayle donned a full-on ‘Punjabi’ avatar with Turban, ‘Sherwani’ shared the stage with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, leading them to perform a dance step. Shikhar Dhawan then prompts Chris Gayle to follow his celebratory step which was followed by Chris Gayle effortlessly.

We have already started missing the Indian Premiere League. On Sunday, the eleventh season of Indian Premiere League came to an end. Kings XI Punjab were not able to qualify for the playoffs.
