Kuldeep Yadav was in great rhythm during the Asia Cup 2023 with the ball and ended up bagging the Player of the Tournament award. He picked up 9 wickets in only 4 innings in the tournament at an average of only 11.44 with a five-wicket haul against Pakistan.
Also, one funny video of Kuldeep Yadav has gone viral on the internet in the past couple of days in which the leg-spinner can be seen sucking a packet of some food or dense juice – something athletes use as energy sources – he can be seen sucking the entire packet like a little child while sitting on a seat in the dugout.
Even as the contents of the packet neared to end, Kuldeep twisted it to gain any more drops of the edible content in it. One fan said that “Kuldeep Yadav is every middle class Indian kid”

Kuldeep Yadav rested for first two ODIs vs Australia

Kuldeep has been given a rest from the first two ODI matches of the 3-ODI upcoming series against Australia. India will be hosting Australia for 3 ODIs on September 22, 24 and 27. Along with Kuldeep Yadav, captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya are given a rest from the first two matches and all of them will return for the third game.
Yadav is in sensational form this year: among bowlers who will feature in the World Cup 2023, Kuldeep has taken the most number of ODI wickets in 2023 – 31 wickets in 15 innings.
The 28-year-old Kuldeep has a decent record against Australia: in 19 ODIs, he’s picked up 27 wickets against Australia at an average of 38, which he’d really want to improve, but being rested from the first two ODIs won’t help that cause.
