Watch – “Hume Najar Lag Gayi Hai….”- Shaheen Afridi Revealed The Reason Behind His Injury

Pakistan’s star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is currently out of action as he is recovering from a knee injury that he endured during the final match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup between Pakistan and England last month in Melbourne. Ever since then the 22-year-old is out of the action.

Shaheen made his comeback after a gap of more than 3 months in the T20 World Cup 2022 and impressed everyone with his show as well, however, he suffered an unfortunate injury in the summit clash. Because of the knee injury, Shaheen was ruled out of the ongoing Test series between Pakistan and England.

Apart from Shaheen, Pakistan is also without the services of Haris Rauf in the ongoing Test series against England. Harris made his Test debut for Pakistan during the first England Test, which took place in Rawalpindi, however, he suffered a thigh injury on the first day itself because of which he was ruled out of the game. It was a major blow for the Pakistan cricket team as it is without their two best bowlers at the moment as it can affect their chances of winning the historic home series against England.

Meanwhile, Shaheen and Haris, who are doing their rehabilitation these days, recently attended an event, where Afridi was asked about his injury. Responding to the query about the reason behind his injury, Shaheen came up with an epic response.

In a viral video, Shaheen can be heard saying that he is not unfit and that all that is going wrong is due to the evil eye. Yes, you read that right, he said: Hum unfit nahi huae hai, hume najar lag gayi hai” (which roughly translates to: We did not get injured, it’s just evil).

Hum dono bhot haldi ground m najar ayenge. Inshallah fully fit” (which roughly translatest to: But there’s nothing to be worried about, and by the will of almighty Allah, both of us will be seen in action fully fit).
