Yuvraj Singh led India to the title in the World Championship of Legends with a victory against Pakistan legends in the final. India beat Pakistan by five wickets and it was memorable win for the Indian legends team.
It was a revenge win for India after Pakistan beat them comprehensively in the group stage. However, India Champions did it when it mattered and it was in the championship game of the tournament. Coming to the game, Pakistan Champions won the toss and elected to bat first.
Pakistan could manage to score 156 runs in their 20 overs. Kamran Akmal scored 24 runs off 19 balls, Shoaib Malik scored 41 runs off 36 balls, Misbah Ul Haq scored 18 runs off 15 balls before getting retired hurt and Sohail Tanveer scored 19 runs off 9 balls. Anureet Singh was the star with the ball for India by picking up 3 wickets. Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi and Irfan Pathan picked up 1 wicket each.
In reply, India champions chased down the total in 19.1 overs. Ambati Rayudu scored 50 runs off 30 balls, Gurkeerat Singh Mann scored 34 runs off 33 balls, and Yusuf Pathan scored 30 runs off 16 balls. At the end, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan steered India to victory in the final over.

Former India all-rounder, Irfan Pathan smashed the winning boundary in the first ball of the 20th over and led India to a victory. He also picked up the wicket of Yonus Khan during bowling with a superb insuring which castled his stumps. After the game, there were celebrations within the Indian fans in the stadium and also within the players. Yusuf Pathan rushed to the ground with tri Colour wrapped and it was just joy all over the ground. Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan came up with a sweet gesture to wife Safa Baig. He kissed her on her forehead as India legends ended the day with happy moments.
