Watch: Ishan Kishan And Shreyas Iyer’s Epic Reaction To Virat Kohli’s Brilliance In Nets

Virat Kohli led Indian cricket team is sweating it hard in the nets ahead of their next match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 against the New Zealand cricket team. Following a humiliating defeat at the hands of their arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening match, the Indian cricket team will be looking forward to making a solid comeback in their next game.

Indian batting line-up failed miserably as Shaheen Afridi rattled the openers. The only positive from that match was Virat Kohli, who was looking good during his knock. Only Kohli with 57 runs and Rishabh Pant with 39 runs managed to stand up to the amazing Pakistani bowling.

Meanwhile, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli hogged much limelight as he was on the mark during the preparations. A video was shared by ICC via their official social media handle where Virat Kohli was seen playing some exquisite strokeplay in the nets.

Young cricketers Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer were left awestruck after watching the brilliance of Virat Kohli with the bat and their reaction to the video has been going viral on the internet. “Shot hai yaar,” both the wonderstruck youngsters praised the Indian skipper whenever he smashed a ball uppishly through the middle of his bat.

Team India will be seen locking their horns with New Zealand on October 31, the players took a rest of compete 2 days following the defeat against Pakistan and hit the field on Wednesday. Infact, both the teams have lost their opening matches to Pakistan, who now have a foot in the semi-final.

However, a major boost for the Virat Kohli-led side is the fact that Hardik Pandya has passed his fitness test and was also seen bowling in the nets on Wednesday. On the other hand, the New Zealand cricket team has lost the services of pacer Lockie Ferguson to an injury and is also not confirmed about the fitness of opener Martin Guptill, who also suffered an injury.
