The cricket world is not going to be the same following amidst the Coronavirus times and we have already witnessed the first glimpse of the difference during the intra-squad practice game of England cricket team.
Well, ahead of the three-Test series against the West Indies cricket team, England’s cricketers gave a glimpse of what all is expected when things will resume in the cricket world as James Anderson was seen celebrating his wickets with elbow dabs instead of the regular high-fives.
The intra-squad practice game of England is basically a warm-up to the upcoming series against the West Indies, which will officially mark the return of international cricket. The match was held between Team Stokes and Team Buttler.
Meanwhile, the official twitter handle of England Cricket shared a video of James Anderson celebrating the wicket with his elbow. n the video, James can be seen celebrating the dismissal of Joe Denly’s with elbow dabs. The video also shows the wicket-keeper Ben Foakes raising his hands for a high-five.

Also, during the match, the players were seen following the new guidelines by ICC like using hand sanitizers frequently as precautionary measures and the substitute who carried drinks to the ground, was seen wearing a pair of gloves.
Besides the video, the official Twitter handle of England’s cricket team also shared some pictures, where Anderson and other players can be seen following the new guidelines by ICC amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Sharing the pictures, England Cricket wrote:

Meanwhile, cricket is yet to resume in most of the countries including India. Also as the number of cases are constantly rising, it seems unlikely that the cricket will resume in India anytime soon.
