KL Rahul Smashed Ravindra Jadeja For A Massive Six: Virat Kohli and co. are sweating it out ahead of the upcoming World Test Championship Final against New Zealand, which will kickstart from June 18 at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton. On Sunday, the BCCI via their official social media accounts shared a fresh clip featuring several highlights from Day 2 of the intra-squad match simulation.

While, on Day 1 of the intra-squad match Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant stole the show with their performances, on the other hand, on Day 2 it was KL Rahul, who had a fine outing in the game.

The BCCI took to their official Twitter handle and shared a 52-second clip, which covered several highlights of the Day 2 of the intra-squad match. The highlights featured Umesh Yadav bowling to Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal, while net bowler Avesh Khan too had a good outing, hitting the right lengths and generating pace.

At one point in the clip, Mohammed Siraj smashed Umesh Yadav for a four with a stunning cover drive. However, the two biggest highlights from the video shared by the BCCI were the two sixes smashed by KL Rahul and Wriddhiman Saha.

Well, as the video begins, Rahul could be seen chipping down the wicket to Jadeja and smashing him for a stunning six, as the umpire signaled six. The video ended with a stunning six by Wriddhiman Saha who pulled Shardul Thakur over square leg.

Meanwhile, talking about KL Rahul, the star cricketer recently had to undergo surgery to treat appendicitis just before the IPL was halted. However, the cricketer is now all set to take New Zealand bowlers to the cleaners.
