New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner is having a great outing in the ongoing first Test against England. From his brilliance with the bat and ball to taking some jaw-dropping catches, his Midas touch is turning everything in the match into gold.

Helping the New Zealand cricket team to take command of the game, he smashed a record stand of 261 runs with his partner BJ Watling. Soon after impressing everyone with his batting heroics, Mitchell went on to rattle England with his bowling. The all-rounder took three wickets for just six runs to put New Zealand on the front foot.

Soon, Mitchell left everyone in shock by pulling off an absolute blinder in the field to dismiss Ollie Pope.

The stunning catch came in when New Zealand’s pacer Neil Wagner came around the wicket to Pope and delivered a low full-toss and Pope could have hit it anywhere. However, Pope hit it towards short cover, where Mitchell was standing. At first, it seemed, the ball would evade Mitchell Santner and run towards the boundary.

But Mitchell Santner proved everyone wrong as he flew through the air and made a full-length dive towards his wrong side to pull off a blinder. The stunning catch left everyone in shock and the video of the same has been going viral since then.
