Watch: Mohammed Siraj Getting Abused By A Group Of Fans On Day 1 Of Brisbane Test

After a series of disappointing incidents of team India facing racial abuse from the people in the crowd during the third Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah have already lodged complaints against that group of people for making racist comments.

Infact, even before the ongoing fourth Test match in Brisbane began, the skipper of Australian skipper Tim Paine, in a public statement had requested the crowds at the Gabba to keep the abuse out of the ground. However, there are reports floating on social media that suggest that a similar incident took place in the ongoing fourth Test match at the Gabba.

As per a report from the Sydney Moring Herald,Mohammed Siraj was targeted once again by the Australian crowds, who kept calling Siraj as ‘grub‘. The report also said that some supporters present in the crowd also showed sympathy towards Shami.

A fan named Kate was quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald saying:

“The guys behind me have been calling – shouting – both Washington and Siraj grubs,” He added: “It started targeted at Siraj and it was a chant similar to the SCG one (in which fans sang to the tune of Que Sera, Sera but substituted the lyrics with Que Shiraz, Shiraz). But this time it was Siraj. I suspect it’s not a coincidence that it’s Siraj being targeted post the SCG stuff. At one point, a man in that section was heard yelling, “Siraj, give us a wave, give us a wave, give us a wave. Siraj, you bloody grub.”

A video of the same was also shared by the journalist on Twitter who wrote the report on the entire incident. The video has been going viral on social media.

Here, watch the video:
