Chennai Super Kings made a powerful comeback into the latest edition of Indian Premier League after a long ban of two years. However, in this season of IPL, where all the other teams enjoyed their home games, Chennai Super Kings could only play a single game at their home ground, MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
As there were political issues going on in the state, Chennai Super Kings had to play all their home games at the Maharashtra Cricket (MCA) Stadium in Pune, as per the decision of BCCI.

Before the league begun, the trollers and haters of MS Dhoni were criticizing him and his team because of the age factor and were calling the team as Chennai Senior Kings.

With his phenomenal batting this year, Dhoni scored 446 runs at an exceptional average of 89.20.
After the last match that Chennai Super Kings played against Kings XI Punjab, MS Dhoni got a bit emotional as he walked for the last time to the dressing room of the Pune Stadium. He took to Instagram and posted a video of walking towards the dressing room with his little adorable daughter, Ziva Dhoni.
Along with the video, MS Dhoni shared a heartfelt message for the Chennai Super Kings’ fans. In his caption he thanked the audience of Pune for making them feel like home.
