Yesterday, the match was won by Chennai Super Kings beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. It was a royal win for the team, as the team earned it’s seventh victory of the season out of the ten matches they have played till now.
In both the innings yesterday, the players of Chennai Super Kings gave extra-ordinary performances. They not just only chased the target runs but also gave an exceptional performance to defend the team from scoring great numbers at the scoreboard.
In the first innings, as Royal Challengers Bangalore was playing their innings, we all got to see the magic of MS Dhoni behind the wickets not just once but twice. The first time it happened when the star player of RCB came into bat and had to return back only after playing four balls with only 1 run in his account.
The ball was delivered by Harbhajan Singh, for which AB De Villiers stretched himself to hit the shot but gets beaten by a bit of turn down the leg-side and then Dhoni grabs the ball and just with a blind of an eye, AB De Villiers was announced ‘Stumped Out’. Dhoni was so quick that he doesn’t even allow de Villiers a chance. After stumping, Dhoni walked off so confidently that it took our hearts away.
