A lot has been said and read about the future of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni in cricket. It has been long since he last graced the cricket ground. He was last seen in action as a wicket-keeper batsman during the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup where India lost to New Zealand. Following this, MS Dhoni took a sabbatical from the game and kept on extending it.
However, he is now all set to return back to the ground as he will once again don the Captain’s armband for his team Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has become a regular sight to watch at the JSCA stadium where he has been training with the Jharkhand Trophy winner squad. He has been training hard to make a solid comeback into the Indian side.
Lately, a video of him has been making rounds on the internet where he can be seen driving a roller on the pitch during a pitch practice. The video of the same has been making rounds on various social media platforms.

Besides this, one more video of him has gone viral on social media where he can be seen sowing watermelon seeds and completing a few rituals. Sharing the video on his social media, MS Dhoni captioned it as:
“Start of organic farming of watermelon in Ranchi followed by papaya in 20 days time. first time so very excited,”

Earlier he was also seen preparing ‘pani-puri’ for former cricketer RP Singh during his vacation in the Maldives. Well, must say ‘one man-many roles’.
Meanwhile, Dhoni will kickstart the preparations for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League along with Suresh Raina.
Talking about his return, CSK CEO KS Viswanathan had said: “Dhoni will reach Chennai on March 2 and will start training the next day at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Raina will also be training with him, but there will be no international player as of now.”
