Watch: Piyush Chawla Cleans Up MS Dhoni’s Stumps At CSK Nets

The preparations for the upcoming edition of the league has been going on in full swing. MS Dhoni along with his Chennai Super Kings teammates have been sweating it out in the nets ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
Chennai Super Kings was the last team to kickstart their training session as at the end of August, 13 members of their staff, including two cricketers — Deepak Chahar and Rituraj Gaikwad, were found positive for the coronavirus. Thus extending the quarantine period of the franchise. To make things worst, the most experienced players of the team Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina pulled out of the tournament. It was from Friday evening, MS Dhoni’s CSK came out to practice.
Meanwhile, a video has been making rounds on social media, where new arrival Piyush Chawla can be seen dismissing MS Dhoni’s wicket with a bamboozling delivery in the nets on day two of CSK’s training session. Piyush Chawla bowled a quicker to the CSK skipper which rattled is stumped in immediate effect.

Apart from MS Dhoni, players like Murali Vijay and Shane Watson have also seen batting in the nets. MS Dhoni has been focusing on preparing spinners ahead of IPL 2020 as slow and tight tracks in the UAE are going to be of great help to spin bowlers.
Meanwhile, the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League will kickstart on 19th September in UAE with the opening clash between Defending Champions Mumbai Indians and the previous year’s runner-ups Chennai Super Kings.
