Delhi Daredevils player, Prithvi Shaw made his debut in the Indian Premier League this Monday, representing Delhi Daredevils in a match between Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab.

Prithvi Shah, who is the captain of India’s under-19 cricket team had led India to lift the ICC U-19 World Cup this year, finally got the opportunity to play alongside all the top players of the world in Indian Premier League.

In his debut match, Prithvi Shaw dropped the catch of KXIP’s batsman David Miller while fielding. He was left with teary eye, as he got emotional after he missed one important catch during the match.
Well, this happened during the 15th over of Kings XI Punjab innings when David Miler played the straight delivery by Amit Mishra. He smashed the ball towards Prithvi Shaw at extra cover in the ring. However, Prithvi got nervous and missed the catch and somehow failed to catch the bowl with both of his hands.

After missing the catch, he got a bit emotional and was left with teary eyes. Seeing him in a state like that, Rishabh Pant who is his team mate was seen consoling him.

Well, watching him break down like this has surely made us emotional as well.
However, in the second innings of the match, he came back stronger with a thrilling performance and scored 22 runs in 10 balls, hitting 4 fours.

In their last match against KKR as well, Prithvi Shaw was on fire, he scored 62 runs in 44 balls, hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes. Well, no doubt in the fact that he has a long way to go.
