WATCH: Ravindra Jadeja’s Sword Celebration After Hitting Fifty In 1st IND vs AUS Test

For the second day in a row of this first Test against Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Nagpur, Ravindra Jadeja recorded a milestone as he brought up his 18th Test half-century.

On day 1 of this Test, which marked his comeback to international cricket after five months’ injury-forced layoff, Ravindra Jadeja rattled the Australians with a five-wicket haul, helping India bowl the visitors out for 177.

On Day 2, after skipper Rohit Sharma had celebrated his century and India had taken a lead while losing more than half their side, it was Ravindra Jadeja and his century partnership with Axar Patel that extended India’s lead past 100, and perhaps the pair has batted Australia out of the game.

By stumps on Day 2 in Nagpur, India have a lead of 144 runs, their total score being 321/7. Ravindra Jadeja is 66*(170) and Axar Patel is 52*(102). An Indian victory seems the most likely result at the moment.
