"Us Pitch Pe Humne 'Woh' Kiya" - WATCH Rohit Sharma Hilariously Forgets Infront Of PM Modi

Rohit Sharma has evolved not only as a legendary batter for the Indian Cricket Team but also as the leader of Team India. In the last 10 years or so, he has dominated the batting charts. However, he has evolved into one of the most successful captains in Indian Cricket history. He is a very laid-back and relaxed guy who often enthrals the onlookers with his hilarious statements. However, we have often seen that Rohit has a tendency to forget things while speaking and takes time to construct his statements. This habit of his has always been the source of hilarious reactions from the fans and his teammates.

The Indian Cricket Team under Rohit Sharma made history as they became the first team to win the T20 World Cup undefeated. They were absolutely brilliant in the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and USA and beat South Africa in a nail-biting final by 7 runs to clinch the trophy.

This put an end to the 11-year drought for the Indian Cricket Team without an ICC trophy. After the final, two legends of the game, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have held the batting lineup for the national team for the last decade, announced their retirement from T20I cricket. Then, Ravindra Jadeja also joined them and announced his retirement from T20I cricket.

WATCH Rohit Sharma repeats his forgetful nature in front of PM Modi

On July 4, Rohit Sharma and his team landed in New Delhi. In the morning, they went to meet with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The PM had a lovely interaction with all the Indian cricketers and congratulated them for the successful campaign. A day after the interaction, PM Modi himself uploaded a video with the audio of the whole interaction on his YouTube channel.

One of the hilarious points in the interaction that the fans noticed was Rohit Sharma’s habit of forgetting words while speaking yet again, this time in front of the PM. When PM Modi asked him the reason behind his gesture of eating the grass and mud from the Barbados wicket after the World Cup triumph, Sharma answered back in his own usual style.
