Watch: Shah Rukh Khan Hugged Gautam Gambhir, Shreyas Iyer, And Chandrakant Pandit After KKR Win – The thrilling third match of the 2024 Indian Premier League enthralled spectators at the world-famous Eden Gardens. Andre Russell’s magnificent 64 off only 25 balls powered Kolkata Knight Riders to a challenging total of 208 runs. Rinku Singh scored 23 runs in 15 balls and Phil Salt hit 54 runs off 40 balls, both of which contributed to KKR’s strong performance.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, had a poor start but rallied with 63 runs by Heinrich Klaasen off 29 balls and 16 runs by Shahbaz Ahmed off 5 balls. In the last over of the match, SRH needed 13 runs to win. The unsung hero of KKR’s nail-biting 4-run triumph, however, was Harshit Rana, who kept his cool and limited SRH to only 8 runs in the last over. As the game came to an exciting conclusion, the energy in the Eden Gardens was there to see.

Mitchell Starc’s first game for KKR just added to the thrill. After being purchased for an unprecedented Rs 24.75 crore in the IPL 2024 auction, the Australian fast bowler didn’t have much of an effect on his debut, going four overs without picking up a wicket and allowing 53 runs. The 19th over was his most costly, as he conceded 26 runs and placed KKR under tremendous strain.

The fact that KKR prevailed despite Starc’s poor start is a proof of how others chopped up with their performances. Not only did the victory kick off the IPL season in style, but it also demonstrated how exciting and unpredictable Twenty20 cricket can be.

Bollywood superstar and KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan was all emotion as he cheered on his team at Eden Gardens. He had been there before, relishing in the moment and revelling in his success. SRK was so overjoyed after the win that he hugged his coach Chandrakant Pandit, captain Shreyas Iyer, and mentor Gautam Gambhir in a bear hug. Footage of these touching moments, which captured SRK’s unfaltering support and excitement for KKR, went viral on social media. This is the kind of thing that shows how close the team is to its owner and how passionately the millions of supporters support them.
