India’s young and talented opener Shubman Gill opened up on teammate and close friend Rishabh Pant being constantly linked with Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.
Well, as per media reports, Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela have dated each other in the past. They have been making a lot of news off-lately. Earlier this year, in an interview, Rautela was seen referring to someone as ‘RP,’ which many speculated was Pant. The Indian cricketer appeared to respond to the same with a cryptic Instagram story. The video of the same went crazily viral on the internet.
Ever since that “RP” statement from the celebrity, a social media war began between Pant and Urvashi with both not naming each other in responding to each other’s comments/claims.
Meanwhile, in an interview, Gill accused the actress of seeking attention and suggested that she wants someone to tease her while claiming Pant is not bothered with the links and doesn’t care about them. Gill was asked about the Rautela-Pant links by Sonam Bajwa on the chat show ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ with the host asking if the team also teases Pant with the actress or is just outside noise. Shubman was also asked if Pant is distracted by the constant media rumors on the same, especially from Rautela herself.
Responding to this, Gill said: “There is nothing from Rishab Pant’s side. He doesn’t get distracted by her activities. Actually, Urvashi wants someone to tease her,”

Shubman Gill is currently in New Zealand where Team India is playing a T20I series against the Kane Williamson-led side. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be leading the Indian cricket team. The first match of the series was washed out because of the rain.
