Cricket is known as a gentleman’s game but time to time there have been incidents that make us questions the ‘gentleman’ tag of the game. Cricket has had its share of controversies but sometimes there are incidents that cross the line and take the limelight away from the game.
Shane Warne is one of the most controversial cricketers in cricket history. In a Big Bash League (BBL) game, Shane Warne got into a very ugly on-field spat between Marlon Samuels. It started with Samuels holding David Hussey’s shirt to stop a run and ended with Shane Warne holding Samuels shirt and giving him a warning. In between, Warne also threw ball at Samuels, to which Samuels retaliated by throwing his bat away. Watch the video here:
