In an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Daredevils (DD), the speed-o-meter shocked one and all when it showed Morne Morkel’s delivery at 173.9 km/h. We can clearly see in the video that Morne Morkel bowled this particularly much slower than what he usually bowls, but still the speed-o-meter showed 173.9 km/h. Nobody has every touched 170 km/h mark in cricket history and this is why Indian Premier League’s (IPL) speed-o-meters are not that reliable. Watch it here:
