Indian sensational bowler Jasprit Bumrah is regarded as one of the best bowlers in the world. Besides his incredible bowling skills, it’s his cool and calm nature that helps him in giving nightmares to the opponents. However, the otherwise cool and calm Bumrah was seen in sheer frustration and he didn’t hold back from expressing his frustration on-field.
Well, Bumrah wasn’t having a great day on-field on Day 4 of the ongoing 3rd Test match against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). And what added more to the trouble was the poor fielding of his teammates. As many as two clear cut chances were dropped by the Indian fielders – Rohit Sharma and Hanuma Vihari.
Jasprit Bumrah, who is currently looking for his first wicket in the second innings, would have extended his wickets tally on just the second ball of the day when he nearly trapped Marnus, however, Hanuman Vihari dropped an easy catch.
Jasprit was not at all pleased with the drop and his reaction made that very clear. He was seen covering his face with his hands in frustration. Later, when Rohit Sharma dropped a catch at first slip, Bumrah did an unexpected thing.
When nothing was going was his way, Jasprit looked very frustrated and displayed uncharacteristic behavior. Known for his cool and calm personality, Jasprit vented his frustration on the bails by dismantling them in anger.
Jasprit’s action was followed by a hilarious reaction from the on-field umpire Paul Reiffel, who was surprised by the actions of Jasprit Bumrah. Making his feelings clear, umpire putted his hands at his waist and looked at Bumrah in surprise.
