The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was in a jovial mood after team India thrashed England by 10 wickets at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The much-awaited Pink Test match was wrapped up within two days India and England – none of the teams were able to cross the 150-run mark with the England cricket team bowled out for 112 and 81 runs in first and second innings respectively.  With this win, India is currently leading the ongoing 4-match Test series by 2-1.

Local boy Axar Patel turned out to be the hero with the ball as he scalped six wickets in the first innings and later grabbed a fifer in the second innings. He played an instrumental role in helping India win the match. All thanks to his stunning performance, Axar Patel won the man of the match award.

Thus, later after the match, Axar Patel was being interviewed by Hardik Pandya. This is when our Indian skipper gatecrashed the interview and heaped praises on the spinner in Gujarati.

Virat was heard saying: “Aye bapu thaari bowling kamal chhe,”

(Which roughly translates to: “Your bowling was fantastic“)

As soon as he said this, both Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel were left in splits. The video was later on shared by the official Twitter handle of the BCCI.
