Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli turned back the clock as he attacked the lethal Pakistani bowlers with his powerful batting during the ongoing India vs. Pakistan match. He played a record-breaking knock, registering his 47th ODI century. He also completed 13,000 runs in the ODI format, becoming the fastest one to achieve the feat.

Virat Kohli Recreated Iconic MCG’s Six

Apart from shattering records and achieving milestones, Kohli also made everyone recall the iconic six he struck off Haris Rauf during the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Well, Kohli nearly replicated that remarkable shot against Naseem Shah towards the end of India’s innings against Pakistan in Colombo. Kohli powerfully smashed Naseem’s slower off-cutter straight into the long-on area for a colossal six.

The video of the same is going viral, watch here:

After smashing Naseem for a six Kohli swiftly approached his century, reaching the remarkable milestone in record time and securing his 47th ODI century. Kohli dominated over the Pakistani bowlers and smashed them all around the ground. He played a stunning unbeaten knock of 122* runs off just 99 balls. His knock was laced with nine fours and three sixes.

Virat completed 13000 ODI Runs:

Virat needed just 90 runs to reach the 13,000 runs in ODIs on the reserve day of a rain-hit game. After smashing his 47th ODI century, Kohli is now only two hundred behind Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 centuries. Kohli also became the first player to score ODI centuries in four consecutive innings at a single venue.
