Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper has been giving some really brilliant performance since a very long time now. He is on a spree of making new records and breaking the old ones. He has come a long way with his bat and is now regarded as a modern day legend of this game.
We have seen him do some epic and legendary stuff with the bat and on the field as well, however, not as much with his bowling. But he has got some skills with the ball too and we got to see his skills in the warm-up fixture against Cricket Australia XI ahead of the Test series.
Virat Kohli bowled 7 overs in the innings where India used 10 bowlers. In that match, CA XI gave a run for money to Team India on the field batting for 151.1 overs, they scored 544 runs on the board. The Indian cricket team got enough game time with CA XI. It was during his spell, Kohli was also able to take a wicket.
In the sixth over, when centurion Harry Nielsen was playing his knock. He tried tried to hit it a bit too hard and the ball ended up in the hands of Umesh Yadav. However, what caught everyone’s attention was Virat Kohli’s reaction.
Just as the ball flew high, Kohli knew it was flying straight to Umesh Yadav. Kohli had his hands on his mouth trying to hold back his laughter. Umesh made no mistake as Nielsen went back to pavilion. We just loved the epic reaction of Virat Kohli as he took the wicket.
