VVS Laxman lost his cool when No. 11 Ojha, in only his seventh Test, failed to take a run in the frenetic closing stages of India’s one-wicket victory against Australia in Mohali. Laxman, who is known as one of the most calm and composed cricketers, shouted at Ojha, throwing his arms in the air and pointing with his bat.

This is what VVS Laxman had to say after winning the match:
“I got really furious. The pressure was on everyone. I had a discussion with him and, thankfully, he understood. In such situations, one can’t take a chance.
“I was very nervous and kept praying as we ran between wickets.
“It was nothing serious between us. It just happened. Come on, I wasn’t going to hit him or anything.
“It was pressure and nothing else. I apologised to him later.”
