Watch: Wriddhiman Saha Stunned Matthew Wade With A Bizarre Run Out: The Australian cricket team defeated team India by eight wickets in the just concluded first day-night Test match in Adelaide to take a 1-0 lead in the four-match series. India suffered a collapse on Day 3 as they got their lowest score in the history of a Test match, i.e, 36 runs.

Chasing a target of 90 runs, the Australian cricket team reached the total, losing just two wickets during the process, one of which was a bizarre run out of Matthew Wade. His dismissal was one of the few positives for India.

Matthew Wade along with Joe Burns attacked team India’s fast bowlers adding 70 runs for the first wicket. Thanks to their power-packed shots, it looked like the Australians would register a 10-wicket victory, however, Wriddhiman Saha didn’t allow the same.

It happened during the 18th over when Matthew Wade hopped down the track to hit the Ravichandran Ashwin’s delivery on the leg-side. However, the ball hit Prithvi Shaw, standing at short leg, and went near Wriddhiman Saha, who pulled an MS Dhoni and in no time dismantled the bails, sending Wade back to the pavilion.

The video of the same has been going viral on social media and the fans are loving the way, Saha pulled off an MS Dhoni there.

After Wade runs-out Mathew Wade, Ricky Ponting, who was doing commentary that time gave the best compliment to him by comparing him to MS Dhoni. He said:

“That’s a Dhoni-like piece of keeping; Dhoni over the years has done all those sorts of magnificent things behind the stumps”

However, not many are happy with the performance of Wriddhiman Saha as though he did an excellent job to dismiss Wade but he didn’t have a memorable match with the bat. Saha got two opportunities to take the Indian team to a better total, however, Wriddhiman failed to make the best of the opportunities as he couldn’t tackle the Aussie pacers.
