Rajasthan Royals’ fast bowler Trent Boult has been in some sensational form in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. Recently, he completed 100 wickets in IPL 2023 on April 23rd. He achieved the milestone by dismissing RCB captain Virat Kohli for a golden duck with his signature inswinger.
With his exceptional bowling spell, Boult has now raced to 101 wickets off 84 IPL appearances. Boult has only become the 5th overseason batter to complete 100 wickets in the Indian Premier League.
Trent Boult Gifted His Jersey To A Young Boy
Meanwhile, a video of Boult from the last edition of the IPL has resurfaced on social media, where he made a fan’s day by gifting him his jersey.
The incident took place in IPL 2022 in Qualifier 2 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In a video that was initially uploaded on the Royals’ Twitter handle, Trent Boult was seen taking off his jersey and giving it to the young kid. The kid, hilariously, was also seen taking off his shift before Boult said that he didn’t need it.
Boult passed his jersey to one of the Royals’ members, who then passed it to the young boy. After receiving Boult’s jersey, the young fan was seen overjoyed by the kind gesture.
