When Will Hardik Pandya Start Bowling In IPL 2021? Find Out

Right since IPL 2020 has landed itself, we have seen Hardik Pandya bowling very rarely. As the entire world was inquisitive about the fact that why is an all-rounder only being kept for batting purposes the reason came out to the fore that stated about him undergoing a surgery that has precluded him from bowling.

However, once he bowled against Australia in one of the T20’s, people were wondering that probably he is completely fit from the injury which he was in previously.

With all said and done, Pandya still hasn’t bowled in the ongoing edition of IPL. So far as the issues go, it is proclaimed that the Indian all-rounder has refrained from bowling mainly due to his back issues.

In a virtual press conference, Mahela Jayawardene confirmed that while the series between India and England was afoot, Pandya picked a niggle which hasn’t really aggravated but the management doesn’t want to pressurize the all-rounder into bowling as he is already packing a powerful punch with the bat and the ball.

Jayawardene cited, “In his last ODI series against England, Hardik picked up a niggle. We don’t want to risk an injury with his bowling. He’s being assessed currently, and we should see him bowl over the next few weeks.”

However, the absence of Pandya hasn’t really bothered Mumbai’s bowling line-up considering the fact that they have so far exhibited an exceptionally strong bowling performance and their bowling exploits have been highly commendable considering the fact that Boult and Bumrah have spearheaded the bowling line-up with exemplary leadership.

Mumbai has lacked in the batting unit until now and as the party returns to Wankhede for them, it won’t be easy if they are not able to post those monumental scores.
