When will the PSL 2023 Start?
The 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2023) will start on February 13 with defending champions Lahore Qalandars taking on runner-ups Multan Sultans in Multan.
What is the start and final date of PSL 2023?
A 6-team tournament, the PSL 2023 will run from February 19 to March 19. The tournament will be held across 4 venues: Multan, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
What is the format of PSL 2023?
6 teams will meet each other twice in the league stage with the top 4 progressing to the playoffs. The top two teams will face off in Qualifier 1 with the winner proceeding to the final. The 3rd and 4th placed teams will clash in the Eliminator 1, the winner of that faced the loser of Qualifier 1 in the Eliminator 2 and the winner of that reaches the final.
All the playoff matches including the final of the PSL 2023 will take place in Lahore.
The draft for the tournament was held on 15 December in Karachi. A total of 36 foreign players were picked alongside local players.
Who won the PSL 2022?
The Lahore Qalandars won the PSL 2022 by defeating Multan Sultans in the final by 42 runs.
