Eden Garden isn’t just any other cricket stadium in India. Eden Garden always has great cricket, entertainment and surprises to offer to the cricketing fans in India. Eden Gardens is the home to paramount enthusiasm and it did not die even when the ongoing test match has been amply affected by rain.

The first test of the series between India and Sri Lanka despite being intervened by rain and bad light has turned out to be a great contest and is headed for a draw. But still there were surprises to chose from.

One such mystery was that of a young guy facilitating team India with drinks. Everyone has been wondering since than as to who this unrecognised young lad is. Well we’ve solved the mystery for you and you can’t thank us later!

His name is Pankaj Shaw and he’s a 29 year old first class cricketer from Bengal. Pankaj was seen carrying drinks for team India when India was batting in the first innings and then he was again spotted doing the 12th man duties as the visitors enjoyed their turn to bat.

Who Is This Young Player Sitting In The Indian Dressing Room?

He’s a cricketer belonging to Gopalpur, Bengal and he made his first class cricket debut last year at Kolkata against Rajasthan. He since then has represented his state in 12 first class matches and has scored 2 tons and 6 fifties being impressive. His highest score is 118. He earlier has also represented Bengal at under 19 and under 22 levels.

Pankaj’s moment of fame

Pankaj Shaw kissed fame and popularity when he stunned the cricket world by playing a knock of 413 in a club game of Bengal First Division Tournament. The amazingly crazy innings was studded with 44 fours and 23 sixes and that’s what got him to a sprawling fame.
