GT VS MI

The defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will host the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday in the important Qualifier 2 encounter of IPL 2023.

The winner of this game on Friday will proceed to the final where they will meet MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings, again, at this venue, Ahmedabad, on Sunday.

However, rain has threatened to play spoilsport today. There is significant rain in Ahmedabad and that has already delayed the start of the Qualifier 2 between GT and MI.

What happens if GT vs MI is washed out? Who will qualify for the final then?

If there is no result possible in GT vs MI Qualifier 2, then GT will proceed to the final because they had finished above MI in the points table in league stage.

However, let’s no jump the gun yet. For there is plenty of time left in the match being officially called off.
