Wisden India Wrote A Beautiful Tweet For Rohit Sharma: India and England cricket teams are facing each other in the ongoing 2nd Test match of the five-match Test series at the ‘Home of Cricket’, i.e, iconic Lord’s Stadium.

As the match kickstarted, Indian openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma walked out to open the innings for the Indian side and both the cricketers were able to provide a terrific start to the Indian innings. The duo troubled the England bowlers in the first hour of the ongoing Test.

The morning session of the match belongs to the Indian side as they collected nearly fifty runs without losing a wicket before lunch. India would be expecting some big runs from the openers at Lord’s, while the openers will look forward to ensure that India has an edge over England in the game.

The fans are awaiting the ‘Hitman’ Show today at the Lord’s Stadium as Rohit was seen in beast mode. Rohit teed off after getting off to a cautious start and slammed four stunning boundaries in a single over by Sam Curran. The cricketer will be hoping to convert the start into a bigger score today.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left in awe of Rohit Sharma as he smashed Sam Curran for 4 stunning boundaries. Social media was soon flooded with amazing reactions from the fans, who hailed Rohit’s brilliance with the bat.

However, one of the best tweets came from the official Twitter handle of Wisden India, who lauded Rohit’s gutsy attitude. Wisden India wrote:

“Test cricket: Give the first 50 balls to the bowler
Rohit Sharma: 13 (50), 1 four
Four fours off next six balls
#ENGvIND”
