Bollywood actor Ranbeer Kapoor surprised the Indian cricket fans when he joined Star Sports’ Hindi commentary for the second quarter final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 between India and Bangladesh at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Ranbeer Kapoor, who is the second Bollywood actor after Amitabh Bachchan to have joined the commentary in Hindi during an India match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 tournament, is also a leading brand ambassador of the 8th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL8).

Legendary Bollywood actor Amitbah Bachchan was the first to do Hindi commentary in India’s opening match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 against the arch-rivals Pakistan.

India are the favourites in the second quarter final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, but Bangladesh made a strong comeback after the first 15 overs of the match. First, Shakib Al Hasan dismissed India’s in form opener Shikhar Dhawan and then Bangladesh’s fast bowler Rubel Hossain dismissed Virat Kohli only for 3 runs.

The live cricket score updates and commentary will be available on All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan in Hindi.
