The ICC World Cup 2023 has finally kickstarted at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with a high-voltage clash between England and New Zealand. The Indian cricket team will kickstart their campaign in the World Cup 2023 with a game against Australia on 8th October at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
Ahead of their campaign opener, legendary India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has backed the Indian team to bring the World Cup “back home”.
Yuvraj Singh Wrote An Emotional Message For Team India

Yuvraj Singh, who played an instrumental role in India’s World Cup wins in 2007 and 2011, took to his social media and penned a motivating message for the Indian cricket team, pouring out his emotions as the World Cup tournament got underway. He wrote:
“As I reflect on the incredible journey we had during the 2011 World Cup, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia. The joy of representing our nation on home soil and bringing the World Cup home was a moment I’ll cherish forever. Now, it’s déjà vu as the World Cup returns to our cricket-crazy nation. The same love, the same passion, and the same expectations from a billion hearts”
Further, Yuvraj Singh also said that he has full faith in the current Indian team. He also added the World Cup is just not about winning the title but making memories that last a lifetime. He said:
“I’ve witnessed firsthand what it feels like to lift that trophy, and I want each one of you to experience that euphoria. It’s a journey of hard work, dedication, and teamwork, and I have full faith in our incredible Indian squad.”
“Remember, the World Cup isn’t just about winning a title; it’s about making memories that last a lifetime. It’s about inspiring the next generation of cricketers, just as we were inspired by the legends before us”,
